‘Mr. Biden’s statements about Mr. Putin are not matching of the president.’
Istanbul: Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday the Joe Biden’s responses about Russia’s Vladimir Putin, at that he said he thought he was a killer, were both”unacceptable” and also unfitting of a US president.
At a television interview broadcast on Wednesday, Biden stated, “I do” when asked if he thought Putin was a killer, prompting US-Russia ties to sink into your new low. Putin afterward responded that”he who said it, did it.”
“Mr. Biden’s statements concerning Mr. Putin usually are perhaps not fitting of the president, along with a president coming outside and with this remarks contrary to the president of the nation like Russia is truly unacceptable, perhaps not at all something that can be stomached,” Erdogan told reporters at Istanbul.
“Within my opinion, Mr. Putin has achieved what is necessary, giving an extremely, extremely sensible and refined remedy,” he added.
Biden is also recalled in Ankara for calling Erdogan an”autocrat” within a meeting in late 2019.
Regardless of their differences across the Syria war, by which they’ve endorsed contrary sides, Erdogan has called Putin a”buddy as well as a strategic spouse.”
